When My Child Turns Age 26, What Happens to Their Benefits Through the Firm?

At the end of the month in which your dependent turns 26, their Morgan Stanley coverages will automatically end.

Your child may then continue coverages through COBRA. Before their coverage ends, information on how to enroll in COBRA and rates will be mailed to them.

A child who is employed may have access to coverage through their employer. Additionally, your child will be eligible for coverage through the public health insurance marketplace. For information, visit healthcare.gov.

Note: To be eligible for coverage through the Firm beyond age 26, your child must be fully handicapped as defined in the Health Benefits and Insurance Summary Plan Description.
