Smoking is the leading preventable cause of death in the US, with more than 480,000 deaths each year. If you’re ready to kick the habit for good, the Firm supports your efforts with a variety of tobacco cessation resources, all available at no cost to you.

HOW IT WORKS
If you participate in Morgan Stanley’s Medical Plan through Cigna or UnitedHealthcare, you can access Cigna’s Quit Today Program and UnitedHealthcare’s Quit Power Program, provided to you and your covered dependents at no additional cost. Programs include:

  • One-on-one telephone sessions with a wellness coach
  • Nicotine replacement therapy for qualified members
  • Unlimited access to online cessation planning resources

AN EXTRA INCENTIVE TO QUIT SMOKING
If you do not use tobacco products, you will receive a discount on your Medical and Employee Supplemental Life Insurance Plan rates. The available Medical Plan annual discount is $500 for you and an additional $500 for your covered spouse or domestic partner. To be eligible for the discount, you must either be tobacco-free or enroll in a tobacco-cessation program. Rates for the Employee Supplemental Life Insurance Plan are also discounted for nonusers of tobacco. See the Health & Insurance SPD.
