2021 and 2022 Plan Year Information

When you can’t get to the doctor, your child is sick in the middle of the night, you need a short-term prescription or fall ill while on vacation, you can speak or videoconference with a doctor, day or night.

How It Works

Telemedicine is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through UnitedHealthcare (Virtual Visits) or Cigna (Telehealth Connection). You’ll use different telemedicine services based on your carrier. Visit or to access these services.

The cost of a consultation varies based on your provider. Telemedicine appointments are covered at 80% after meeting your annual deductible.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Member cost share for COVID-19 diagnostic testing, treatment and certain telemedicine visits will be waived through the emergency period established by the US government (set to expire on April 20). The Firm continues to evaluate coverage as the pandemic and vaccine distribution evolve, and reserves the right to change coverage, including reinstating deductibles and coinsurance payments, at any time.

Who Can Use It

Telemedicine is available to you and your dependents enrolled in a medical plan administered by Cigna or UnitedHealthcare.

When to Use It

Telemedicine can connect you to a board-certified doctor to:

Treat common conditions such as bronchitis, allergies, rashes, ear infections, pink eye and urinary tract infections.

Write prescriptions and send them to the pharmacy of your choice.

Provide care if you become sick while on vacation.

Talk to a doctor about COVID-19, including to discuss any symptoms you may have.
